Alexander Hey
Alex completed 10 years of formal music school training in piano and accordion (until approximately 1998), during which he participated in numerous performances with the institution. Since 1998, he has been active as a studio and live musician, collaborating with a variety of bands.
Over the years, Alex has performed at and alongside Radio SAW, Pro7, and Ute Freudenberg, as well as at numerous city festivals. His repertoire spans Top 40 covers, gothic and 1980s music, in addition to his own original compositions.
In 2015, he established contact with Invoker and contributed to the album AEON.
Ingo Rusche
Ingo, the bassist, is a creative and artistic force shaped by decades in the underground metal scene. He began his journey in 1991 with GELBKREUZ, where he played bass and provided vocals, blending death metal, thrash, and punk into a raw and expressive sound.
In 2003, he helped form the thrash/death metal outfit AUENSPUK, releasing the independently produced album “Wildwuchs”, which received strong praise from Legacy and Metal Hammer. Following further lineup instability, the band came to an end around 2012.
Since 2019, Ingo has been part of Invoker, fully dedicating his experience and artistic vision to the band’s sound.
Nico Hünniger
Nico, the lead guitarist, channels a blend of precision and passion rooted in classic traditions and shaped by years of experience. He began his musical path at age 12 with classical guitar training, building a strong foundation over five years. By 14, he had taught himself electric guitar and started playing in school bands, developing an early connection to heavier music.
In 2006, he joined the synth-pop/rock band Black Design, gaining valuable studio and live experience he still revisits today. Later, he performed with the Iron Maiden tribute band Tarantel, where he met Florian Jäntsch—an encounter that led him to Invoker in 2015.
Deeply influenced by old-school heavy metal, Nico brings a sense of melody, tradition, and timeless intensity to the band’s sound.
Tino Büttner
Tino is the dark creative force behind Invoker, drawing on years of experience across solo work and past bands within the extreme metal underground. As founding guitarist and vocalist, he channels atmospheric black metal and avant-garde influences into a sound that is both immersive and unpredictable.
His approach blends bleak atmospheres with dissonant structures, balancing precision and chaos. Through Invoker, Tino crafts music that goes beyond aggression—shaping intense, evocative soundscapes rooted in authenticity and a relentless creative vision.
