ATMOSPHERIC
BLACK METAL
from germany
Forged in November 2010 by vocalist and guitarist Tino Büttner, INVOKER quickly carved out a relentless presence in the European extreme metal underground.
Hailing from Saxony-Anhalt, Invoker conjure a haunting fusion of atmospheric black metal and avant-garde extremity, where razor-sharp melodic riffs cut through vast, shadow-drenched soundscapes. Thunderous growls and cavernous grunts echo like incantations, channeling an otherworldly presence steeped in mysticism, darkness, and ritualistic intensity.
Their sound drifts between worlds—balancing crushing weight with eerie, transcendent melodies—crafting immersive sonic realms that feel both ancient and unbound by time. Drawing inspiration from the bleak grandeur of black metal and the unorthodox spirit of the avant-garde, Invoker weave themes of death, cosmic insignificance, and existential dread into a dense, hypnotic atmosphere.
From their early, raw recordings to their ever-evolving production, a sense of restless transformation permeates their work. On stage, this manifests as a visceral and almost ceremonial force—unrelenting, immersive, and shrouded in an aura that blurs the line between performance and invocation.
